Holy Family Hospital Announces Expansion of
Women’s Health Center in Lawrence, Mass.

Only dedicated Women’s Center in Lawrence now open at 101 Amesbury StreetOpen House to be held February 16, 2009

January 27, 2009 — Methuen, Mass. —  In response to increased demand, Holy Family Hospital Women’s Health Center has opened its second location at 101 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, Mass. This newly renovated, modern facility offers patients a full range of obstetric and gynecological care with on-site laboratory and ultrasound capabilities available.

Nearly all staff and physicians are bi-lingual (English and Spanish) and dedicated to providing high quality care in a comforting environment. The Women’s Health Center accepts most insurances, including MassHealth.

Maternity patients of the Women’s Health Center deliver their babies at Holy Family Hospital’s Birthing Center. The Birthing Center brings some 1,300 newborns into the world each year, and is home to the area’s only Level II Special Care Nursery staffed by Children’s Hospital neonatologists. The Birthing Center is known for its exceptional patient satisfaction which is among the top 10 percent in the country.

A celebratory Open House will be held at the Lawrence location on February 16, 2009.
